Following his tenure at MRI, Steve charted a path of entrepreneurial success by establishing and leading his own thriving search firm, Strategic Search, based in Charlotte, from 2000 to 2008.

In 2008, Steve ventured into the tech realm, investing in a smart grid technology start-up called Sensei-Solutions. As a strategic advisor and significant stockholder, he played a pivotal role in the company’s growth. Despite this venture, Steve’s passion for recruiting endured. He resurrected Strategic Search Inc and continues to steer the ship today, with a specialized focus on Software Sales and Marketing roles.

Beyond the professional realm, Steve finds joy in spending quality time with his wife and daughter in Charlotte. In the midst of his bustling schedule, he carves out moments for personal well-being, starting each day with an invigorating morning run.
